“I’ll let you win next time”
Another test with Art Rage. The comic was inked and the panels were done before using Art Rage. I wanted to see if it could be used as a coloring tool. It can be done, but it’s not optimal. Still, it’s faster than using the mouse.
“I hate when that happens”
A test done with Art Rage to see how a comic could be made. Only the rough pencils weren’t done digitally. The result is interesting, but the steps to get there aren’t optimal yet. So, I guess there’ll be more.
I was asked by a fellow teacher if I could make a comic about the origin of the world according to Greek mythology. I didn’t know anything about it, so I said yes right away. She then sent me a short text about it. After reading it, I had absolutely no idea how to tackle it. I might have simplified and cut a few corners. It was a challenging comic to draw, especially the breakdowns, but very rewarding too.
And man, those guys were really mean to each other.
Another comic for students at school. They asked so nicely!
A student at school came to ask me if I could make a comic a magazine project they had in class. I believe the Amazing Anatole is a mixed influence from the Presto short by Pixar, L’Artiste and L’Illusioniste.
I thought it was funny.
Well, I still do.
